GWK celebrate over 35 years of improving life through architecture.  Since its inception, the GWK studio has been resolute in its quest for quality. Established on the basis of commissions from Local Authorities, Registered Social Landlords and Private Clients, the Practice quickly encompassed educational projects, high-tec office development and earned a deserved reputation for the restoration of historic buildings.

We believe we are unique in our approach; it is to do with relationships, developing trust and devoting time to listening. Before picking-up a pencil or switching on a computer, we place our consultation with the Client at the top of our agenda. We make this process fully inclusive and enjoyable for all concerned. The process is iterative. It is about getting it right. Architecture is about people and improving quality of life and GWK will explore every way of extending and developing the Client brief through our enthusiasm and caring approach. GWK’s team is made up of dedicated and innovative professionals who invest their emotion into every project. We have been successful in not only designing exemplary, and inspirational award winning buildings, but more importantly making buildings which people enjoy being in, living in, working in and learning in.
